Throughout the year, OGG Edu hosts a series of journal clubs — closed-door, discussion-based reviews of the current GI literature. Each journal club brings prescribers together to examine the evidence and talk through how it applies to everyday patient care.
Each journal club is built around a close reading of recent peer-reviewed literature, giving attendees a clear view of where the evidence stands.
We often welcome local and regional experts in gastroenterology, surgery, and gynecology to join the discussion and add their perspectives.
With typically 20 to 30 prescribers in the room, the setting stays intimate and interactive, with plenty of room for questions and open dialogue.
Held five to six times a year, these events are supported by a single sponsor.
Held two to three times a year, these events are supported by multiple sponsors.
Sponsors are invited to a 30-minute meet and greet with attendees immediately before each journal club begins, an opportunity to connect with prescribers in a relaxed setting before the discussion starts.
